Photocopy of the fraktur that documents Benjamin Geiger's birth on Jan. 29, 1806, in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.

Text in the heart on the left side: This married pair Benjamin Geiger and his wife Catherine(?) bore a son Benjamin Geiger, born on 29 January 1806 and baptized by Pastor Mr. Steck.

Text in the heart on the right side: Baptismal witnesses were Jonas Kiel and his wife Susanna born in the state of Pennsylvania in Westmoreland Conty in Hempfield Township (next few lines are hard to read but perhaps says that Benjamin was confirmed by the same pastor in 18--.)

The first few lines of the text below appear to be a religious poem. We have no translation for the handwritten line on the bottom.
