Son of Benjamin and Adella (Pettigrew) Ambrose; grandson of Joseph Ritner and Margaret (Dougherty) Ambrose. This snapshot was taken at the Capitol Building, Harrisburg PA.

Matthew was a favorite of G.L. and Laura (Ambrose) Stewart and spent a lot of time at their house when he was young. He married Madeline Tyson and lived in Castle Shannon PA.
